Be “Wilder”-ed

(a play on the word bewilder)

Lost, confused, how do I be wilder?

Dazed, bemused, longing to be wilder

Oh, wild, wild spirit of long ago

Oh, wild, wild spirit where did you go?

The energy swirling around me

Is just within my grasp

Although I am aging

My life has not yet passed

I long to claim the wildness stirring within me

I long to claim the wildness of the Blessed Trinity

Oh, useless fear, release your grip on me

Oh, wild, wild spirit – fly free!

Oh yes, Be Wilder me.
